Faculty Honors A-Z

J. Douglas Archer, Librarian, has been elected to a two year term as Co-Chair of the Peace and Justice Studies Association Board of Directors.He has also been appointed chair of the Privacy Subcommittee of the American Library Association (ALA) Intellectual Freedom Committee (IFC) and reappointed to a third one-year term as the Intellectual Freedom Round Table Liaison to the IFC.

Donald E. Sporleder, professor of architecture emeritus, FAIA, was  re-elected as a member of the board, URC, United Religious Community of St. Joseph County, at the June 12, 2011, URC Annual Meeting, at the Jewish Federation Building in South Bend. He will serve a three-year term, 2011-2014,  and was appointed chairman of the URC Building and Grounds Committee.
