Faculty Honors R–Z

Donald E. Sporleder, professor of architecture emeritus, was re-elected a member of the board of trustees at the annual meeting of the Northern Indiana Center for History on June 19, 2008; serves as a member of the Copsaholm Advisory Committee and as chairman of the Center for History Facilities and Grounds Committee; and was re-elected chairman of the Trails Advisory Board, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, at the March 5, 2009 meeting of the board. Sporleder was appointed to the Neighbothood Resources Corporation (NRC) board. He serves as board representative for the United Religious Community of St. Joseph County.

Anthony M. Trozzolo, the Huisking Professor Emeritus of Chemistry and Biochemistry, received the 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award for Professional Achievement from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Todd Whitmore, associate professor of theology, received an ATS Lilly Faculty Fellowship for 2009–10, and was named president of PeaceHarvest, a nonprofit organization that combines agricultural training and peacebuilding in northern Uganda and South Sudan.

Rev. Oliver F. Williams, director of the Center for Ethics and Religious Values in Business, was named to the advisory council of The Unit for Corporate Governance in Africa, Univ of Stellenbosch.
